The Duel in the Desert 8-Ball 3-player team tournament was held July 11 and 12, 2008 at the Las Vegas Cue Club. Teams competed in this 8-ball tournament from all over the U.S. and Canada. Click here to see the results of 2008 Duel in the Desert.
Congratulations goes to Last Call for winning 1st place in the 2nd Annual Duel in the Desert held on July 11 and 12 at the Las Vegas Cue Club. Congratulations also goes to What Cha Got for coming in at a close 2nd place and the Gunslingers in 3rd place; to Ed Carrion and Rob Hately's teams for coming in 1st and 2nd in the Best of the Rest. With teams registered from Arizona, California, North Carolina, Ohio, Illinois, Pennsylvania and of course, Las Vegas, it was a very exciting weekend of pool at the Las Vegas Cue Club with after party at the Gin Mill Casino on Saturday and a mini-tournament on Sunday! Congratulations goes to Michael Dick for coming in 1st place and Elisa Hawks for 2nd place.
A special thanks goes to our referees: Mike Folkerson, John Vece and Dan Dayan along with our advisory board members Gerald Branham and Jennifer Virden; and Michael Dick and Jeremy Head who assisted as well.
